2008 was a good year for Zolve and we thank you for sharing it with us.

2008 was very busy and productive at Zolve and we couldn't have done it without our entire team including members and staff.  I'd like to extend our sincere thanks and compliments to all Zolve members for your participation and support in 2008.  Through our continuing work together to grow the Zolve Referral Network, I believe that 2009 will be even more productive.
 
We've spent many months working behind the scenes to bring you new tools with opportunities for growing your business and developing more referrals through Zolve.  The "project" is almost completed and will be launched in just a few weeks.  As most of you know, this has been a live work in progress not without some inconvenience.  It's been a great learning adventure for all of us.  We appreciate your understanding and commitment as we've worked out the gremlins to benefit growing your businesses.  THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
So as we say goodbye to 2008 and welcome to 2009, I wish you all a very safe New Year's Eve and a Happy New Year.  A friend gave me a daily calendar of The Secret and I know some of our members have read the book.  I'd like to share with you the message from today's page.  I figure we can all use a bit of positive self talk.  It's just an affirmation for thought and I hope you enjoy it.
 
 
An affirmation for the rest of your life: "In the new picture of the coming years, I see my live growing and expanding in everything: in  health, youth, and unlimited energy at all times and in all circumstances.  I see myself in complete freedom.  I see unlimited growth in my personal capacity, mental power, and intellectual brilliancy.  I see constant improvement in all the elements of my personality and my body.  I see daily growth in my wisdom, understanding, insight, and realization.  I see myself in peace, harmony, love, and joy, and I see my character expanding to be stronger and more beautiful.  I see the never-ending betterment of friends, associations, and environments.  I see myself in everlasting joy and infinite bliss."

A thought on invisibility...

I watched a movie recently some of you may be familiar with; it was Little Big Man, (1970) with Dustin Hoffman and Chief Dan George.  In the course of the story, Chief Dan George and Dustin Hoffman’s characters must flee from an attack upon their village by the U.S. Cavalry.  Jack Crabb (Dustin Hoffman) convinces Old Lodge Skins (Chief Dan George) who is blind, that he is “invisible” to the soldiers and it will be safe for them to leave their tepee and cross the river to safety. 

I just love this line by Old Lodge Skins as he leaves the tepee in the midst of total mayhem: “Invisible!  I’ve never been invisible before!”  Of course, he was not invisible, but the soldiers ignored him.  He was in essence, invisible!

Okay, so my point is this… We are so happy to have you with us and we would like to get to know you better!!  All of you who have taken the time to join Zolve to network and enhance your “visibility” in your market area, but not added your picture or logo, are actually “invisible” in your markets.  If we can’t see your picture on your profile, then you are just “invisible.” 

Please consider these questions:  Do you want to do business with a mystery agent?  Do you want to be ignored by buyers and referring agents because they selected an agent who did post their photo?  Do you want to receive referrals and increase sales?  Or do you enjoy being anonymous?  I think you get my point and I won’t prolong this friendly little rant. 

Let’s see those smiles today!  Post your photos and logos today!  Thank you very much!!

Expand Your Sphere of Influence!

Hello Everyone!! 

Just thought I would pass on some tips for expanding your Sphere of Influence by sending invitations to existing members, friends and business associates to join your SOI.  We have a few locations for you to use when sending invitations.

Send invitations to invite “new” people to your “Sphere of Influence” from your “Homepage” by using the “Quick Invite to Zolve” box on the right side of the screen.

You can also send invitations from your “Grow My Sphere” page.  The message that is in the text box on the “Grow My Sphere” page is what will be sent to your “new” invitees. You can personalize this text as you desire and add to the original message we have installed for you. 

Additionally, send invitations to “existing” members from your “My Sphere” page.  Click on “Send Sphere Invitation,” enter the members full name, then a box opens with the members “Business Card” and “Invitation text box.”   You can also do a first name search here and then just select the member you want to invite. 

The quickest way to add “existing members” to your Sphere is from “their Profile” page.  So if you are reading a Blog or Over Coffee post and decide you want to invite that member to join your SOI, just click on their picture.  When you click on a member’s picture it will open their “Profile” page.  Look just below the green “Professional Details” line and click on “Add to Sphere” to enter your message.  If you don’t see “Add to Sphere” in the list, it is because they are a member of your sphere. 

You may notice a small “S” or “N” in a business card and these icons indicate if someone is in currently in your SOI.

It’s just that easy!  Now go out there and have fun building your Sphere of Influence.  Invite your friends, old and new, to become part of the best international real estate referral community online today!! 

And this is just the beginning…!

Welcome New Members!

    I want to welcome our new members and encourage you to make your profile as attractive and professional as you can.  Consider your profile as a marketing tool for networking with other agents.  The Profile page is your resume for referring agents to learn about you and to learn about how you do business.  Start by adding your Contact Information so we can find you in your market.  Use photos and links to increase awareness of your market areas.  Edit your profile when you wish to announce special events and business updates.  Feel free to post your listings too!

    Remember that your Blogs, like your Profile, can be seen by the public.  Use Zolve in presentations to your clients and refer them to the network.  Invite business associates to join your Sphere of Influence and subscribe to your Blogs.

    Have a quick thought to post for today?  Post a Sticky!  Say “Hello” to new members as they join.  Begin networking Over Coffee to enjoy sharing your experiences or to start a conversation seeking advice.  Take an opportunity to introduce yourself to existing members and add a comment on their Blog or Over Coffee chat.  Humor is appreciated, as long as it is squeaky clean. 

    Zolve is a terrific international referral network community!  This is the best place for you to expand your Sphere of Influence to make deals, meet new friends, and explore opinions.  As a member of Zolve, you can network all over the globe!

To Refinance or Not To Refinance?

Is the time right to refinance?  Considering the climate of the market and reduction in mortgage rates, does anyone have a “rule of thumb” they use in evaluating the decision to refinance?  When comparing your current mortgage rate to the newest borrowing rates, what is the difference in percentages that you believe is needed to make the refinance advantageous?  Should you expect to pay points?  I'd like to know what methods of thought you are all using to advise your clients considering refinance.  Thanks!
